The MOH plans to establish a new facility consisting of laboratories to cater for testing nutrition materials for human consumption, health screening, testing for arriving residents, pre-marital testing, food industry workers testing and testing of communicable disease such as TB (Tuberculosis).

In addition to the laboratory facilities mentioned previously, the new facility will have an administrative block and will also have staff managing various public health programs such as Mother and Child, Communicable and Non Communicable Diseases, HIV/Viral Hepatitis/ STDs, Nutrition, Health Inspection, Health Promotion and Administrative.
