Yellow Academy is AJi's platform for education, mentorship, and industry engagement. It brings together our partnerships with universities, professional bodies, and design competitions to support emerging talent and strengthen the built-environment ecosystem.

Through sponsorships, academic collaboration, and real-world exposure. Yellow Academy connects learning with practice, giving students and young professionals the opportunity to engage directly with the challenges, standards, and opportunities of the industry.

Industry Competitions and Awards

AJi actively supports leading regional and international design competitions that encourage innovation, sustainability, and critical thinking. These initiatives give students and young professionals visibility, recognition, and meaningful pathways into the profession.

Tamayouz

A renowned architectural competition celebrating excellence, originality, and forward thinking design across the region. AJi Group has signed a strategic agreement with the Tamayouz Excellence Award to sponsor the fourth and fifth place winners of the International Architecture Graduation Projects Award over the next three years.

Through this partnership, selected winners will receive a three-month paid internship at one of AJi's regional offices, helping bridge the gap between academic achievement and professional practice. The initiative reflects AJi's commitment to nurturing emerging talent and creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of designers and architects.

iSustain

An architectural graduation competition focused on sustainability, environmental responsibility, and future-ready design solutions. AJi is proud to serve as Awards Sponsor for the iSustain Awards, held in memory of the late Engineer Mohammad A.R. Jardaneh, one of AJi's founders.

His pioneering legacy in architecture and engineering continues to inspire the industry's approach to responsible design. By supporting this initiative, AJi reaffirms its commitment to recognising young talent dedicated to building a more resilient, innovative, and sustainable future.

AJi Innovation Awards

AJi Innovation Awards is part of AJi's commitment to shaping the next generation of architects by creating platforms that connect education, innovation, and real-world impact.

Launched in honour of the late architect Talaat Al-Kawalit, a founding partner and influential figure in Jordan's architectural landscape, the award celebrates a legacy rooted in design excellence, forward thinking, and cultural relevance

Index Saudi Future Stars Interior Design Competition

AJi is proud to support the next generation of interior design talent through the Future Stars Interior Design Competition. At the second edition of the competition, held during Index Saudi on 11 September 2025, AJi Design Director, Architect Khalid Odaibat, presented a certificate to one of the winning students, who was awarded a three-month paid internship with AJi.

This initiative reflects our commitment to developing emerging talent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and giving graduates direct access to professional practice, mentorship, and real project experience as they begin their careers with our Interior Design team.

Academic Partnerships and Student Engagement

Beyond competitions, Yellow Academy is built on long-term collaboration with universities and academic institutions. These initiatives allow students to gain insight into the realities of professional practice, while enabling AJi to stay closely connected to emerging ideas, talent, and perspectives.

Co-op placement partnership with HTU, Jordan

A long-term, structured cooperative training programme integrated with academic coursework, running annually for 8 months, providing students with practical industry experience alongside their studies.

Co-op placement partnership with Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia

Annual 12-week cooperative training programme offering students hands-on professional exposure within live engineering and design environments.

AJi Future Engineers Internship Programme

Annual 8-10 week summer internship for undergraduate engineering students from leading universities across Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the UAE, focused on real-world project exposure, mentorship, technical development, and future talent identification.

AJi Juniors Pathway Internship Programme

Structured 2-3 week annual job-shadowing programme for IB high school students (Grades 10-12), introducing younger talent to careers in architecture and engineering through mentoring, site visits, and departmental exposure.

Partnership with the University of Jordan through IAESTE

Global cultural and technical exchange initiative through which AJi hosts paid international interns in Jordan from more than 80 countries across Europe and Asia, promoting cross-border knowledge sharing and professional development.

Academic engagement with HTU, Jordan

Ongoing collaboration through guest lectures, technical workshops, site visits, and field training opportunities delivered by AJi engineers, helping bridge academic learning with industry practice.
