The new 80-bed hospital provided the emerging industrial community at Dukhan with a relaxed, healing environment and integrated multidisciplinary healthcare. The hospital included 60,000 m2 of staff accommodation, with a health club and recreational facilities, an accident and emergency department, outpatient clinics, a maternity nursing unit, a delivery suite, daycare, surgical theatres, an intensive care unit, a coronary care unit, medical and surgical inpatient wards, radiology, rehabilitation, laboratory, pharmacy, admission and registration, atrium and lobby, dining area, and café, supporting facilities and a helipad.
