The project included the construction of a 515 metre long and 17.7 metre wide bridge with two lanes in each direction, at the intersection of Prince Nayef and Ali Bin Abi Taleb roads. Also upgrading and rehabilitating the intersection and the service roads along the length of the bridge, with two service lanes on each side, as well as parking spaces and pavements for pedestrians on Prince Nayef Road.
