The Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) is establishing a Center of Excellence in Medical Education (CEME) to advance teaching, training, and research in the health sciences.

The facility will bring together modern lecture halls, advanced simulation labs, clinical anatomy suites, immersive/VR laboratories, and collaborative learning spaces under one roof. Functions such as offices, student lounges, cafeterias, IT centers, and a museum/ exhibition hall will create a vibrant academic hub.

A dedicated car park building with a minimum of 375 spaces will serve staff, students, and visitors. With a built-up area of approximately 9,600 m² (excluding parking), the CEME will become a landmark facility within the SQU campus, designed to meet international standards in medical education and to support the university’s mission of excellence in learning,
