Building Renovation At Jeddah Historic District

Building Renovation at Jeddah Historic District is a large-scale preservation and revitalization initiative located in the core of Al Balad, Jeddah.

In alignment with a masterplan vision to create a vibrant, mixed-use community, the project involves the renovation of existing structures—including both UNESCO World Heritage sites and non-heritage buildings—spanning a total built-up area of 44,732 m².

Developed for the Ministry of Culture, the project transforms historic assets into functional spaces such as rental residential accommodations, live/workspaces, and modern offices.

Comprehensive services provided for this framework agreement include:

  • Initial Assessments: Technical surveys and structural assessments of historic building fabric.
  • Design & Planning: Detailed renovation plans encompassing architecture, interior design, and landscape design.
  • Heritage Preservation: Specialized strategies to integrate modern utility while respecting the district's unique cultural and architectural identity.
