Job Summary: 

The incumbent will be responsible for establishing the basic systems, design calculations, and detailing for building structures. This includes structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures in compliance with local and/or international standards. The ideal candidate should also be proficient in attending meetings and reporting on work progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for concrete and steel buildings.
• Propose and prepare structural framing systems in coordination with the Lead Engineer.
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes and JEA permitting.
• Utilize structural software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000) and BIM/Revit (LOD 350) for design tasks.
• Contribute to design and progress reports, site queries, and submittals.
• Lead small-to-moderate projects and mentor team members.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborate with the Technical Development Office.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design, with a focus on various infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in structural design for infrastructure entities, adhering to the latest American and Jordanian environmental codes.
• Proficiency in structural software such as ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
