Environmental Consultancy for a 5-Star Hotel
Environmental audit, site visits, development of QHSE audit reports
Grand Tala Bay Resort appointed AJi to conduct the QHSE audit report in accordance with the Jordanian Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for two sites: the sewage treatment plant and marina in the resort in Aqaba.
To fully satisfy the requirements in the environmental consultancy services agreement, AJi completed the following tasks:
Task 1: Data evaluation covering all areas of Tala Bay Resorts’s sewage treatment plant and marina, including their sewage treatment plant activities throughout the operation and labour office areas
Task 2: Conducting site visits, including interaction with plant personnel
Task 3: Monitoring all aspects of the environment: air, noise, soil, waste, biodiversity, health and safety, wastewater and groundwater
Task 4: Developing comprehensive QHSE audit reports
The environmental consultancy agreement was used to:
Assist Tala Bay Resorts meet the authorised EIA and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 requirements
Adhere to national standards and guidelines
Assess the potential environmental impact that might be generated by the sewage treatment plant’s activities and the marina during operations
