The first phase of the project consisted of doing survey work, collecting and reviewing all relevant data for the project area, to create a comprehensive social and environmental impact assessment. More importantly, a basis of design report (BODR) and tender documents were prepared for the expansion of the Ramtha WWTP. Additionally, WWTP design support, the layout of process piping, hydraulic calculations, review of civil and structural layouts, preparation of MEP and architectural drawings were included in the preparation.
