Project and Design Management of an Airport
Project and design management, developing terms of reference for all technical, economic, financial, and legal sub-consultants, leading the development of procurement strategy and negotiations with international airport operators, implementation management
Utilities Development Company Holdings (UDCH) was a Kharafi Group subsidiary which had under its umbrella all the Group’s BOT and BOO projects. It invested in exceptional pioneering projects and the acquisition and management of existing and under-establishment companies. UDCH had expressed its interest in bidding for a BOT concession for Queen Alia International Airport.
UDCH retained AJ-PDM to conduct a pre-privatisation economic assessment of aeronautical as well as commercial opportunities. The assessment included studying current legislation, political obstacles in realising such an opportunity, the commercial viability of the project, mechanisms for recouping the investors’ capital investment, and any other significant technical, financial, social, legal, or political risks that could not be removed or managed.
